OpenAi are the industry leading Ai company, that hundreds of millions are using all across the world.

Your Ai bot uses OpenAi's language model to generate outputs. It does this using what we call an API. An API is how two websites or apps can communicate with each other, and when you create your account you will create your API key which connects your Auto Growth App account to OpenAi to use it's services.

A lot of people get confused as they already have a ChatGPT account, or pay the $20USD per month for GPT Plus. Unfortunately businesses can not use GPT or GPT Plus, and must use the OpenAi API for commercial use. However in most scenarios, your monthly charges will come to typically less than the $20USD spent depending on volume.

Everytime the system makes an API call, i.e performs an action, you the end user gets charged by OpenAi. In the next training you will see rough idea of charges.

# How To Create An Account

1. \- Head to OpenAi to create an account ->[https://platform.openai.com/signup](https://platform.openai.com/signup)
2. \- Begin signing up using your best email
3. \- Following the steps to create an account, you'll be prompted to authorise your email address via an email. Open this on the same device
4. \- Once the account is created, you'll be prompted to choose between ChatGPT OROpenAi, select****OpenAi****

## Begin Generating API Key

1. \- Once inside the platform and email is confirmed, head to API keys
2. \- You will need to verify your mobile number to use the API, add in your mobile number and use the code to login
3. \- Begin creating a secret key, you can name your secret key 'Auto Growth'. Note: We recommend storing this secret key somewhere where you can access later if required.
4. \- Send the secret key to Auto Growth via your WhatsApp group or email to[support@autogrowth.co.uk](mailto:support@autogrowth.co.uk), once we have obtained your key and it is connected, we will prompt you to delete your message & remove your email
